Refund policy

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

All custom-designed steering wheels are made to order and cannot be refunded or exchanged once production or shipping has started.

To be eligible for a return (where applicable), your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled, unused, with all tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Agreement to Terms

By placing an order with German Auto Mods, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Warranty Policy in full.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Custom steering wheels are made to order and non-refundable once production or shipping has started

  • Installed or used steering wheels cannot be returned or refunded

  • Warranty coverage is limited to replacement parts only

  • Warranty replacements do not constitute a refund or partial refund

  • Compatibility is the customer’s responsibility unless confirmed in writing prior to purchase

  • Installation, removal, coding, and third-party labour costs are not covered

Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Warranty & Replacement Policy

All custom steering wheels are covered by a limited warranty for replacement parts only, commencing from the date of delivery.

If a fault is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, we will supply the necessary replacement parts or components to remedy the issue.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Refunds, partial refunds, or order cancellations

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or modification

  • Incorrect installation or third-party fitting

  • Vehicle coding, electronics, or airbag-related issues

  • Labour, installation, removal, or diagnostic costs

Damages & Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
You must contact us within 48 hours if:

  • Your item arrives damaged

  • You receive an incorrect steering wheel or specification

Claims made after installation or use may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom-made or personalised steering wheels

  • Installed or used products

  • Electrical or electronic components once installed

  • Special-order configurations including LEDs, carbon fibre, Alcantara, stitching, or paddle modifications

Exchanges

Exchanges are not available for custom steering wheels.

If an issue is covered under warranty, replacement parts will be supplied in accordance with the Warranty & Replacement Policy above.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of ordering unless the item is custom-made or personalised.

As all steering wheels sold by German Auto Mods are made to order, the EU cooling-off period does not apply once production has started.

Refunds

Refunds are only issued where a return has been approved in writing and the item meets the eligibility requirements outlined above.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of inspection.

Warranty replacements do not constitute refunds or partial refunds.
